Vocabulary we need

meme: an element of a culture or system of behavior that may be considered to be passed from
individual to another by nongenetic means, especially imitation. I love memes that are from movies
Virus:an infective agent that typically consists of a nucleic acid molecule in a protein coat, is too small to be seen by light microscopy, and is able to multiply only within the living cells of a host. Ebola is a serious virus
Viral:of the nature of, caused by, or relating to a virus or viruses. Once a virus goes viral there is gonna be a lot of sick people
Blog:a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style. I blog everyday in mr. prestons class
Wiki:a website that allows collaborative editing of its content and structure by its users. I use Wikipedia when i have to do a project.
Url:the address of a World Wide Web page. What is netflex's url
Website:a location connected to the Internet that maintains one or more pages on the World Wide. Hulu is a website with a lot of shows
 Web:a network of fine threads constructed by a spider from fluid secreted by its spinnerets, used to catch its prey We only have access to the tip of the internet.
WWW:World Wide Web. we use www at the beginning of every URL
Internet:a global computer network providing a variety of information and communication facilities, consisting of interconnected networks using standardized communication protocols. Nothing ever goes away on the internet once you post it its there forever.
2.0:used to denote a superior or more advanced version of an original concept, product, service, etc. When describing a new and improved machine they use 2.0
Open Source:denoting software for which the original source code is made freely available and may be redistributed and modified. In my English class we use open source learning.
